Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA – November 13, 2019 – Arvizio today announced the integration of their MR Studio enterprise mixed reality platform with the Autodesk® BIM 360™ and A360™ applications. The inclusion leverages the Forge API to seamlessly convert and import models created with design tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, Inventor, Navisworks and others, into MR Studio for optimization and visualization on Magic Leap, Microsoft HoloLens, mobile AR devices and virtual reality headsets.
BIM 360 and A360 are cloud-based solutions geared to Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC) and Product Design and Manufacturing design teams respectively. Both provide project collaboration and sharing tools and support more than 50+ 3D data formats. Arvizio’s integration of these solutions into MR Studio allow 3D models held in a wide range of formats to be imported, optimized and visualized in AR/MR. Using the Arvizio multi-user visualization tools, users are able to visualize and mark up models across locations and may join collaborative sessions using a variety of devices.
“The large 3D models in the AEC, energy, automotive, mining, product design, manufacturing and other industries are created using an assortment of design tools and have not been suitable for use with non-PC based augmented and mixed reality solutions,” said Jonathan Reeves, CEO at Arvizio. “Arvizio’s integration of BIM 360 and A360, coupled with our advanced 3D model optimization and GPU-accelerated hybrid rendering, allow users to work with very large-scale models rendered at life size.” Arvizio will be offering live demonstrations of MR Studio at Autodesk University, Booth CON348, November 19 – 21, in Las Vegas.
Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA – January 15, 2019 – Arvizio Inc., today announced the expansion of their MR Studio enterprise mixed reality software platform to include Magic Leap One and virtual reality (VR) headsets in addition to new features for Microsoft HoloLens. Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC) firms as well as those in the energy, engineering and mining industries can now engage in combined mixed reality and fully immersive VR experiences while sharing design reviews, client walk-through experiences and visualize shared 3D content both locally and across locations.
MR Studio users can:
A key aspect of MR Studio that benefits customers is that no software programming is required, allowing users to import, optimize and share complex models from Revit, LiDAR systems and most popular CAD packages. Models are prepared for XR experiences using a flexible GUI interface which allows models to be optimized, annotated, aligned, clipped and linked with project related documents and images. The prepared models may then be shared among multiple users simultaneously.
“Customers require a flexible platform that offers a common experience across multiple types of augmented, mixed and virtual reality devices” said Jonathan Reeves, Arvizio’s CEO. “We’re excited to announce that MR Studio supports an expanding number of AR, VR and MR devices for cross platform, multi-user, collaborative experiences.”
In addition to expanding device support, the company is also launching version 3.0 of their MR Studio platform with new and enhanced features. Associated with the launch, Arvizio will be offering a “Mixed Reality Innovators Pack” which provides a cost-effective introduction to MR Studio and support for up to 5 devices utilizing a local PC.
MR Studio is an enterprise level solution designed to provide multi-user and multi-site mixed reality experiences for working with 3D CAD/BIM models and real-world 3D LiDAR scans. MR Studio is available in two tiers: The Local Edition provides the ability to walk through designs at life size, align models with the real world for AR and MR digital twin scenarios and synchronize the view of multiple participants at a single location while the Enterprise Edition extends this set of capabilities to conduct virtual design reviews with multiple participants across locations. Arvizio will be offering live, interactive demonstrations of MR Studio at MWC Barcelona February 25 – 28, 2019, on the Ontario Pavilion, Booth 7J51, Hall 7.

Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA – January 30, 2018 – Arvizio, Inc., announces the integration of dense point cloud scans from DotProduct 3D scanners with the MR Studio™ mixed reality software platform. MR Studio is an enterprise level solution designed to provide a comprehensive mixed reality experience including complex 3D model visualization, real-time collaboration and data integration utilizing Microsoft HoloLens and other mixed reality devices.
Industries such as AEC, Energy, Industrial Design, Surveying, Mining and Oil and Gas employ a variety of 3D scanning tools to construct large and complex point cloud models which may involve millions or even billions of points. DotProduct’s hand held scanning devices capture 3D scenes in the form of point cloud models which HoloLens, or other wearable headset devices, are unable to render directly due to the high density of points. Arvizio’s MR Studio Director ingests highly compressed, DotProduct binary DP data and prepares the data automatically for visualization in mixed reality.
“Architects, engineers and other industry professionals need high quality 3D scan data to collaborate interactively,” said Jonathan Reeves, CEO at Arvizio. “Professionals utilizing DotProduct’s scanners can now employ Arvizio mixed reality solutions to visualize DP point cloud scans in 3D and at full scale allowing team members and stakeholders to collaborate in a new, highly efficient ways.”
“We’re excited to enter the innovative world of mixed reality with Arvizio,” said Tom Greaves, DotProduct’s Chief Marketing Officer. “The ability to deploy DP scans as 3D holographic models will provide our customers and resellers with an integrated solution that will streamline and enhance new and existing projects.”
Arvizio was recently named a DotProduct import Partner extending their visualization capabilities to include HoloLens for a fully interactive and collaborative mixed reality experience.

Allows users to observe mixed reality without a headset
Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA – September 6, 2017 – Arvizio, Inc., today announced the introduction of MR Studio ViewPoint, the latest addition to their MR Studio™ enterprise mixed reality platform. ViewPoint allows 3D mixed reality experiences to be streamed in HD for both local and remote audiences, while also recording the experience.
MR Studio ViewPoint utilizes a depth-sensing camera to capture the real world scene and participates in a sharing experience with HoloLens devices, enabling scenes featuring the HoloLens wearers and the 3D holographic objects they are viewing to be captured and streamed. ViewPoint serves as a client device in the MR Studio sharing and collaboration architecture and fully supports the platform’s LOD (Level of Detail) viewing capabilities. This allows complex 3D models to be viewed, annotated and shared with spectators watching on any viewing device. ViewPoint does not require a dedicated HoloLens device; it is only used during initial calibration, which significantly reduces the overall cost of the solution. Calibration is quick and easy and does not require the use of special calibration patterns.
“Many of our customers have expressed a need to stream and record the entire mixed reality experience in high definition but the cost and complexity of such solutions has been prohibitive,” said Jonathan Reeves, Arvizio’s CEO. “ViewPoint provides the ability to share the mixed reality experience with local and remote audiences. This is extremely useful for demonstrations, training, education and many other collaborative situations.”
MR Studio is a comprehensive mixed reality suite designed for the enterprise to meet the emerging needs of the AEC (Architecture, Engineering and Construction), industrial, healthcare and education markets.
Arvizio will be demonstrating their MR Studio solution at MWC Americas 2017, September 12 – 14, Booth W.609 at the Moscone Center.
